These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of SmartDaddy (“https://smartdaddy.in”), including its calculators, fund and market data pages, guides, and other content. Please read them together with our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, which also apply to you.

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

By accessing or using SmartDaddy you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract under Indian law to use SmartDaddy.

2. What SmartDaddy Is

SmartDaddy is a free informational and educational website. It is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser, stockbroker, mutual fund distributor, chartered accountant, or law firm, and it does not execute transactions or hold your money. Nothing on the site is personalised advice. Please read the Disclaimer before relying on any calculator result or content.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
  • scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data at scale, or use bots or other automated means to access the site, except for ordinary search-engine indexing that respects our robots.txt;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, probe, or bypass the security or rate limits of the site or its data feeds;
  • copy, republish, or resell the site’s content, calculators, or data as your own or as a competing product;
  • present calculator results or content as advice from, or endorsed by, SmartDaddy; or
  • submit false, misleading, or abusive information through the contact form.

You may use the calculators for your own personal, non-commercial planning, and share your results (for example by link or screenshot) with attribution to SmartDaddy.

4. Intellectual Property

The site’s original text, guides, design, graphics, code, and compilation are owned by SmartDaddy and protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view and use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. All other rights are reserved. Third-party data, headlines, trademarks, and logos shown on the site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification or information only.

5. Third-Party Data, Links, and Ads

The site displays data from third-party sources, links to external websites, and shows advertisements served by Google AdSense. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. See the Disclaimer for the list of data sources and how to treat them.

6. Your Submissions

If you send us a message or feedback, you allow us to use it to respond to you and to improve the site, without owing you compensation. Please do not send sensitive information such as PAN, Aadhaar, bank account, card, or password details through the contact form — we will never ask for them.

7. Availability and Changes to the Site

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site, or update formulas, rates, and content, at any time and without notice. We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption or free of errors.

8. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The site and everything on it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SmartDaddy and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss, or for any loss of money, profit, data, or opportunity, arising from your use of or reliance on the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is nil. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You agree to be responsible for any loss or claim that arises from your unlawful use of the site or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or block access to the site for anyone who breaches these Terms or whose use threatens the site’s security or availability. You may stop using the site at any time.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us at info@smartdaddy.in so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved that way is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect any change, and continued use of SmartDaddy after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
